With Shadow of the Erdtree, a host of new weapons have been added to the Elden Ring, allowing you to craft some new designs for your character.
One weapon in particular that most warblers seek out is the Backhand Blade due to its unique moveset and attack speed.
However, like most good items in the Elden Ring, the Backhand Blade is not given to you, it must be found.
Here’s how to get the Backhand Blade in Shadow of the Erdtree, with its exact location on the map.
Where to find the Backhand Blade in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree
Fortunately, if you want to get the Backhand Blade early in the DLC, you’ll be happy to know that you won’t have to travel far.
This is because it is located within the starting area of Gravesite Plain, north (and slightly east) of the Grace of Grace location of the Scorched Ruins.
Moving north of Grace, you should be able to see a small structure with four large columns surrounding a sarcophagus inside.
In here, there should be a chest you can loot, which contains what you’re looking for – the Backhand Blade.
Once you equip the Backhand Blade, you’ll soon notice that it offers something a little different than most of your arsenal thanks to its speed and combos.
Her Blind Spot skill is particularly useful because it allows you to move almost like an assassin, sliding either right or left, and striking quickly, hopefully allowing a free hit on your enemy.
Naturally, the weapon works best in Dexterity versions, and if you upgrade it to max, its Dex meter goes to S level, making it even more deadly.
