Square-Enix old meets new Reformulate Dragon Quest III Coming November 14 on Switch. The engine stays true to the original look and feel of the old games but uses modern touches to make them prettier. Releasing the third game in the trilogy seems odd at first, but the prequel, originally released in 1988, was the first chronologically in the game world. The HD-2D remaster of the first two entries, which were initially available in 1986 and 1987, will arrive as a single game sometime in 2025.
